What if my customer dictates over the weekend?
Weekend
work is generally delivered on
Monday morning before 9:00 am.
If a specific need arises for
weekend delivery, arrangements can
easily be made as per client's
specifications.
What are the payment methods and how often does
Linco Transcription invoice?
Invoices are
sent on the 1st and 15th of
each month, with payment Net 14
days. However, we are willing to accommodate and customize our billing practices to suit your needs.
Payment can be by check, bank draft, or wire transfer.
How is the dictation processed?
All
dictated files are transferred via
Linco Transcription's secured FTP site.
The transcribed work will be returned
through the secured FTP site.
Files may also be transferred via
computer modem using pcAnywhere or
by secure e-mail. US
Mail, FedEx, UPS and DHL delivery
options are also available.
How is security ensured during transmission?
Secure socket layer encryption (SSL) ensures all communication between your server and our server is protected by 128-bit encryption prior to transfer. Thus, electronic medical records are accessible only by those with security clearance.
How does
Linco Transcription maintain security and privacy of patient information? Are you HIPAA compliant?
We maintain administrative controls such as systems certifications, chain of trust partner agreements, contingency plans, formal record processing mechanisms, internal audits, information access controls, personnel security, security incident procedures, security management processes, termination procedures, and awareness training programs.
All transcriptionists and supporting staff sign non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements before employment; the agreements are in effect for two years following departure.
Data confidentiality and integrity are ensured by access control, audit control, authorization control, data authentication, and entity authentication.

minimum of two years. Longer retention is available on request. There is no charge associated with archives.

Our dication system is state-of-the
art with redundant drive system in case of failure.
