Medical Transcriptionist Jobs

Linco Transcription is looking for highly skilled medical transcriptionists in all specialties.  We hire transcriptionists for specific accounts so that you can be assured that your expertise will be essential for your assigned account. 

Our transcriptionists work from home from anywhere in the United States.  For many accounts, no special equipment or software is required.  We use MS Word and WordPerfect.  Our .wav files can be transcribed using any USB foot pedal and free or inexpensive transcription software.  Some of our larger accounts use VoiceScribe transcription equipment and software.

Minimum Requirements

●  A minimum of two years acute care transcription experience or one year experience in private physician offices.

●  Excellent knowledge of medical terms on a written exam.

●  Successfully transcribe a series of simple transcription sample tests.

●  Knowledge of either MS Word or WordPerfect software as well as  knowledge of productivity-enhancement tools and word expansion programs.

●  Hands-on experience with home computer use, internet protocols, and web-based communications are essential to work productively from home.

●  Ability to communicate through FTP, instant messaging, e-mail and internet communication software.
